Matthew 24 Key to Understanding Revelation

With so many views out there on end time events, I felt it necessary to put this thing to rest once and for all. Prophecy has always been literal. The only time prophecy is not literal is if it has the word symbol or vision in front of it.

This is a cardinal rule which has been broken by more leaders of the Church than I can shake a stick at. God does not want His children confused. He organized Matthew 24 in chronilogical order and left out nothing which will occur before He returns.

Revelation follows Matthew 24 to the tee. There is no shadow of turning. So to try to interpret Revelation without using Matthew 24 as your key or template will leave you with confusion to say the least.

Revelation is set up into three stages. It is set up so we can see the seven years of tribulation from three vantage points. The "seals," are God's vantage point. The "trumpets," are the Church on earth's vantage point. The "vials or bowls," are the Church in heaven's vantage point.

So if we take seal #1, trumpet #1, and vial or bowl #1, we see the first year of the tribulation from God's point of view, from the Church on earth's point of view, and the Church in heaven's point of view.

If we take seal #2, trumpet #2, and vial or bowl #2, we see the second year of the tribulation from three vantage points. From God's, the Church on earth's, and the Church in heaven's.

This continues through the seven years of the tribulation. God is a God of order not disorder. He set Matthew 24 and Revelation up in a logical and orderly way so there would be no confusion.

Confusion sets in when people don't use God's Word properly. This has become a major problem these days with everyone thinking God called them to preach and teach.

Jesus worked with His apostles for three and a half year before allowing them to lead the New Testament Church. He trained them. Today, anyone can become a leader as long as they can get people to follow them.

I have studied the Scriptures since a child of eight. I know the Scriptures very well. I'm sure if you visit my website you will find things that you have never even contemplated. Go ahead, take a gander. You just might see things they won't tell you in your Church but are there for you to find in Scripture.

I hope this article has helped you in some small way to understand how to read God's word in an orderly fashion. God bless you the reader.

Three Days of Darkness and the Coming Flood by Jesus Villalobos

Matthew 24 has been grossly abused by today's theologians. Jesus never said we could not know when He was returning. He said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away (be destroyed by His Father; see Revelation 20:11)...but of THAT day and THAT hour knows no man..." Jesus was talking about the day His Father would destroy heaven and earth not His coming!
Jesus contrasts the above date with His own coming which is knowable. Jesus told us to wait for the sign of the Son of Man just before the rapture. Matthew 24:29-31. This sign has been around since the opening of Genesis and is throughout the Scriptures. It occurs always on the Passover.

Three Days of Darkness and the Coming Flood

Ebook by Jesus Villalobos

Jesus told us exactly when He would return. Matthew 24 is not talking about Jesus' return when it states; "No man knows the day nor the hour..." This Scripture is talking about God the Father destroying heaven and earth. See Revelation 20:11.
"Heaven and earth shall pass away (be destroyed)...but of THAT day and THAT hour knows no man..." This is speaking of Jesus' Father destroying heaven and earth completely to recreate them. THIS is the day no one can know.
Jesus contrasted the above date with the date of His coming. Jesus stated that the world would see "The sign of the Son of Man," just before He returned. Matthew 24:29-31.
So what we see, is that Jesus never said it was impossible to know when He would return. In fact through careful study, we find He actually gave us the exact date of His one and only return. There are NOT two comings of Jesus. Jesus only mentions ONE return and ONE sign associated with it in Matthew 24:29-31.
The apostles had asked Him for a specific sign which would occur just before He returned. He answered their question! Don't be misled. Read my book.
